Measmer Takes Win Number Six at Concord
RE/Denny's #14 Team Sets Record for Wins
Bobby Measmer, Jr. and the Hughes Motorsports team put together a remarkable season in 2009, culminating with win number-six on their rookie season in the NASCAR Pro Late Model division at Concord Speedway on October 17th.  Next up for Hughes Motorsports is the Snowflake 100 Pro Late Model event at Five Flags Speedway (FL) on December 5th.
Kevin Hughes and his Hughes Motorsports team have seen plenty of success over the years and hope for further success in the Pro Late Model ranks.
A great night at the races!

In the Late Model, we qualified under threatening skies, settling in 4th after the re-draw for the 40 lap feature. Bobby quickly worked himself to the lead, however the car starting to develop an issue with the locker. Some masterful driving, including driving 1 lap sideways down the backstretch, allowed Bobby to salvage a 2nd place finish and a great points night.

In the Pro Late Model we qualified P3 with a career best 15.883 time (The pole time was a 15.841), after the re-draw we were set to start 5th for
the 100 lap feature. The car ran awesome, and we ran in the top 3 the majority of the race, however the car needed some adjustments after such a long run. After a late caution, we pitted to try and make some small handling changes on the car. After the re-start, we ran nose to tail positions 1-4 for the rest of the race, finishing a strong 4th place finish. The top 4 cars lapped the entire field. We have been busy concentrating on making changes to the Pro-late model, allowing us to be more competitive with touring teams. This was by far, the strongest we have ever run with the car. Special thanks to Shane Tesch for his chassis help!

We are off for the next couple of weeks, but stay tuned for a BIG announcement this week!

Thanks again to all our partners and supporters!
